The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaizka Rapado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Fuente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerard Fuente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizka Rapado having to interfere. Diagur De la Torre kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Gerard Fuente came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the odelot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerard Fuente couldn't finish the play. Osvaldo Cardeñosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizka Rapado having to interfere. After 32 played minutes odelot got a freekick which was hit by Milton Sánchez. A collision led to Quins CD getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Pau De Silva hit a great ball. Gaizka Rapado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Cardeñosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaizka Rapado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Fuente in the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerard Fuente in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaizka Rapado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerard Fuente to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gerard Fuente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaizka Rapado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Fuente, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Quins CD's goalkeeper Gaizka Rapado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Cardeñosa. Osvaldo Cardeñosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Cardeñosa got free with Gaizka Rapado in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the game, Gerard Fuente recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaizka Rapado. Gerard Fuente showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Sinforiano Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Truylos Castaño having to interfere. Gaizka Rapado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Fuente in the 95th minute of play.
