Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benet Espinosa in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose-Antonio Higuera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauricio De Paula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olayo Gonzalvez in the 34th minute of the match. If Mero Sanz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, F.C. ηASHviLLΣ яΣbΣLS's Giro Ponte made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose-Antonio Higuera was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Playa de Gandia FC booed when F.C. ηASHviLLΣ яΣbΣLS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anakoz Morera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Giro Ponte got free with Jose-Antonio Higuera in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giro Ponte couldn't finish the play. Mero Sanz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mauricio De Paula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Olayo Gonzalvez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio De Paula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olayo Gonzalvez took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio De Paula. Mauricio De Paula dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the F.C. ηASHviLLΣ яΣbΣLS defense, Olayo Gonzalvez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio De Paula. The F.C. ηASHviLLΣ яΣbΣLS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio De Paula should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Olayo Gonzalvez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio De Paula was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Mero Sanz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose-Antonio Higuera made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Giro Ponte sent off a good shot on target. Benet Espinosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Playa de Gandia FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
