Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hori Lara got the match started through his kick off. In the 11th minute, Dalmau Santander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Toledo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 17 played minutes CD Toledo got a freekick which was hit by Alain Quintas. Teobaldo Reyes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Uriel Camacho. CD Toledo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, CD Toledo's goal looked a bit too open when Baldemar Velasco came free, but Uriel Camacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes CD Toledo got a freekick which was hit by Iratxo Garzon. Baldemar Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Baldemar Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iturgoyen's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldemar Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Camacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iratxo Garzon charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iratxo Garzon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Iratxo Garzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Camacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldemar Velasco in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to CD Toledo getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alain Quintas hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Iturgoyen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dalmau Santander fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Domingo Ballesteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmau Santander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmau Santander was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Ballesteros in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavio De Paula prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute Dalmau Santander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio De Paula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldemar Velasco struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Uriel Camacho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iturgoyen. In the 64th minute, Domingo Ballesteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio De Paula was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of CD Toledo booed when Iturgoyen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hori Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for CD Toledo. Bibiano Zubiaga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Octavio De Paula. 3-0. Octavio De Paula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Ballesteros in the 91st minute of the match. Dalmau Santander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Octavio De Paula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that CD Toledo were the better team. CD Toledo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
