Reynaldo Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Reynaldo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Tavio Vilanova made a precise shot to the right of Josias Macho. Las Anorias AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Mitxel Esperta kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Las Anorias AD's zone, Abad Roca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josias Macho came out of the goal and Abad Roca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Griego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Cruz in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tavio Vilanova got free with Josias Macho in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josias Macho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tavio Vilanova in the 30th minute. If Gomesano Titos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Neron Baños managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sombra de la Muerte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neron Baños was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sombra de la Muerte booed when Las Anorias AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xaiver Aranzubia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tavio Vilanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josias Macho having to interfere. Josias Macho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gomesano Titos in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silviano Bouzas was the one to do the kick off. Josias Macho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis-Alfredo Barro went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute, Silviano Bouzas made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Griego. Sombra de la Muerte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Las Anorias AD's Josias Macho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis-Alfredo Barro in the 60th minute of play. Josias Macho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Arenas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gomesano Titos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josias Macho having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Las Anorias AD's goal looked a bit too open when Gomesano Titos came free, but Josias Macho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis-Alfredo Barro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Silviano Bouzas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Griego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josias Macho came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sombra de la Muerte's Tavio Vilanova. But to his dismay, Tavio Vilanova quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Reynaldo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alberto Griego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Griego made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Xaiver Aranzubia sent off a good shot on target. When Tavio Vilanova came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Sombra de la Muerte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tavio Vilanova couldn't finish the play.
