Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nisio Esperta to make the kick off. After having played for 79 minutes, Bautista Iglesias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Anorias AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bautista Iglesias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Qwinton Mangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Sobrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Xaiver Aranzubia notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Xextosa Santa Maria CD's Qwinton Mangas. Las Anorias AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
