The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iván Blazquez couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Iván Blazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dantel Viejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iván Blazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind kLIXSER F C's goalkeeper Dantel Viejo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. kLIXSER F C's Dantel Viejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Blazquez in the 21st minute of play. Iván Blazquez struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dantel Viejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Extremadura U.D.. The supporters of Extremadura U.D. booed when kLIXSER F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xalo Sanz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, kLIXSER F C's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Blazquez came free, but Dantel Viejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Juan Casero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. kLIXSER F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Casero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Casero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Extremadura U.D.'s Juan Marquez got control of the ball when Bautista Alcalde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Casero in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bautista Alcalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dantel Viejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Blazquez in the 66th minute of play. Bautista Alcalde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Marquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Juan Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bautista Alcalde in the 77th minute. Giorgio Canyelles's late challenge caught a kLIXSER F C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgio Canyelles helped the player get up and apologised. Tuste Acha kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Tuste Acha was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 92nd minute, Tuste Acha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Blazquez in the 96th minute of play forced kLIXSER F C's goalkeeper Dantel Viejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis-Jose Cienfuegos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dantel Viejo having to make a save. The kLIXSER F C players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Extremadura U.D. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
