Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bastia Roman kicked off to start the match. When Pitin Alcaraz fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecija CF's protests and gave Pitin Alcaraz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Pitin Alcaraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gandolfo Sevilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastia Roman in the 16th minute of the match. Antonio Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastia Roman in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chipude AFC's zone, Baldemer Soler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Ortega came out of the goal and Baldemer Soler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gandolfo Sevilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheche Urruti's late challenge caught a Chipude AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cheche Urruti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Ecija CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheche Urruti to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Asdrubal Munoz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ecija CF's Celso Cabrera didn't even have to move. Teodor Blazquezs short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Celso Cabrera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gandolfo Sevilla in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecija CF's goalkeeper Celso Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gandolfo Sevilla made a kick off. Chipude AFC's Gandolfo Sevilla got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gandolfo Sevilla in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celso Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gandolfo Sevilla in the 58th minute of the match. Ecija CF's Celso Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Blazquez in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Teodor Blazquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Gandolfo Sevilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecija CF's Celso Cabrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remigio Camarasa charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Camarasa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chipude AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Remigio Camarasa hit a great ball. Celso Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gandolfo Sevilla in the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Remigio Camarasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Celso Cabrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gandolfo Sevilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teodor Blazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gandolfo Sevilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Blazquez in the 89th minute of play forced Ecija CF's goalkeeper Celso Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Gandolfo Sevilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Cabrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ecija CF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
