Ametz Benítez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Aitor Maroto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crispo Raya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, El Castaño's Ametz Benítez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aitor Maroto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Crispo Raya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aitor Maroto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Crispo Raya's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Aitor Maroto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crispo Raya in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of El Castaño booed when Vimenor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Alavedra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ametz Benítez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The El Castaño fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when El Castaño's Ametz Benítez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 36 minutes, Koldo Fabelo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. El Castaño's Diego Carlos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Crispo Raya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Crispo Raya to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Crispo Raya kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aitor Maroto. That made the score 1-3 in the 55 minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vimenor's goalkeeper Aitor Maroto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Otero during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eusebio Otero hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to El Castaño getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Etxeberri Turrilla hit a great ball. Ametz Benítezs short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Aitor Maroto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th minute, Crispo Raya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aitor Maroto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crispo Raya in the 77th minute of the match. A hard shot 81 in the game by Ametz Benítez from a close distance when the talented Aitor Maroto managed to make a qualified save. Vimenor's players were relieved. In the 84th minute, Karlo Figueres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Koldo Fabelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vimenor's Aitor Maroto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Vimenor from getting a goal against them. The Vimenor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Castaño were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
