Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anastasio Martin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute of the match, Oswaldo Canturri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Goyo Ponce was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Martin in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Goyo Ponce saved Castillo Del Romeral from getting behind. Xabat Cortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Novo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio Garzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabat Cortes having to interfere. After 19 played minutes El Jardin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Torcuato Pascual. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Garzon in the 22nd minute of play forced El Jardin AFC's goalkeeper Xabat Cortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Canturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goyo Ponce having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Castillo Del Romeral's zone, Anastasio Martin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goyo Ponce came out of the goal and Anastasio Martin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Poncio Figueroa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Poncio Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswaldo Canturri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Goyo Ponce made a huge save. Goyo Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Martin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswaldo Canturri got free with Goyo Ponce in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Castillo Del Romeral's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Martin came free, but Goyo Ponce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anastasio Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rio Garzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Castillo Del Romeral's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 57 played minutes El Jardin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Torcuato Pascual. With his leg Xabat Cortes managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Castillo Del Romeral's Rio Garzon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswaldo Canturri in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Goyo Ponce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 63 minutes, Oswaldo Canturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Jardin AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Canturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Anastasio Martin came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the El Jardin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Martin couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, El Jardin AFC's Anastasio Martin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Goyo Ponce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Xabat Cortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rio Garzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswaldo Canturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Goyo Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Anastasio Martin made a precise shot to the right of Goyo Ponce. Castillo Del Romeral's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Anastasio Martin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Goyo Ponce was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Anastasio Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goyo Ponce having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Castillo Del Romeral's Poncio Figueroa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Oswaldo Canturri might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Goyo Ponce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oswaldo Canturri ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the El Jardin AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
