The referee ignored Arroyo CF's protests and gave Gaizkine Ziguenza a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Arroyo CF got a freekick which was hit by Gaizkine Ziguenza. Ugaitz Candamil struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Barea Alvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Comercio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Briso in the 42nd minute of play forced Arroyo CF's goalkeeper Barea Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ugaitz Candamil came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the El Comercio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ugaitz Candamil couldn't finish the play. If Santana Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Anxo Machado made the kick off in the second half. If Gizon Dagora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Anxo Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Comercio's Paquito Teruel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ugaitz Candamil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barea Alvarez having to interfere. Garaona Serrano hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Barea Alvarez came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by El Comercio's Ander Etxeberria. But to his dismay, Ander Etxeberria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ander Etxeberria during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ander Etxeberria kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Anxo Machado struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Paquito Teruel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arroyo CF. In the 87th minute, Ugaitz Candamil made a precise shot to the right of Barea Alvarez. Arroyo CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Ugaitz Candamil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 minutes of play, El Comercio's Ander Etxeberria made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barea Alvarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Arroyo CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Comercio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
