Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cai Acedo started the match with the kick off. Delmar Redondo might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gamus Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Redondo ran back to his position shaking his head. 4 minutes into the match, Cai Acedo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Inter Cifuentes's Gamus Barbosa. Gamus Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gamus Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Acedo in the 7th minute of play. Iraitz Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Cai Acedo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Gamus Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Catalunya. In the 10th minute, Dantel Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gamus Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gamus Barbosa came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Catalunya's Cai Acedo. But to his dismay, Cai Acedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Cai Acedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Catalunya's supporters rose to their feet, but Cai Acedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gamus Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the game, Nova Catalunya's Delmar Redondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gamus Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 28th match minute, Inter Cifuentes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macedonio Fonticoba to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, one of Nova Catalunya:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gamus Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Acedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cai Acedo in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gamus Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Inter Cifuentes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Nova Catalunya a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cai Acedo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Inter Cifuentes's Gamus Barbosa. 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Redondo in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gamus Barbosa saved Inter Cifuentes from getting behind. After the first half Nova Catalunya were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 played minutes Nova Catalunya got a freekick which was hit by Nayely Millán. In the 53rd minute Macedonio Fonticoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edilberto Folch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Nayely Millán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Catalunya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nayely Millán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cai Acedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gamus Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cai Acedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Ranolfo Noya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edilberto Folch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Redondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gamus Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Redondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter Cifuentes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Cai Acedo scored to the left of an out of position Gamus Barbosa, making the score, 0-6. When Cai Acedo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Nova Catalunya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cai Acedo couldn't finish the play. Delmar Redondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Inter Cifuentes got a freekick which was hit by Guido Madariaga. Nova Catalunya's Cai Acedo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inter Cifuentes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Delmar Redondo scored to the left of an out of position Gamus Barbosa, making the score, 0-7. 94 minutes into the match, Nova Catalunya's Delmar Redondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gamus Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Nova Catalunya could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Inter Cifuentes throughout the match.
