Spectators: 7224 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Benedicto took the kick off in the first half of the match. When José Benedicto came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Malaga.c.f. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Benedicto couldn't finish the play. José Benedicto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giraldo Urquijo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Santi Quintero made a huge save. Rico Treviño, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Giraldo Urquijo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Santi Quintero made a huge save. Herberto Escobar charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herberto Escobar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 21 minutes into the match, Tapa e nalga FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Benedicto came free, but Santi Quintero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colon Radaban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benet Gómez in the 25th minute of the match. Benedicto Menendez took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Colon Radaban. Colon Radaban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Toribio Mayol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giraldo Urquijo got free with Santi Quintero in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benedicto Menendez's late challenge caught a Malaga.c.f.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedicto Menendez helped the player get up and apologised. Benedicto Menendez hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. During the 38th minute of the match Herberto Escobar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Herberto Escobar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Tapa e nalga FC booed when Malaga.c.f. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herberto Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tapa e nalga FC's Benedicto Menendez got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colon Radaban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Menendez's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giraldo Urquijo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Giraldo Urquijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Menendez to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Malaga.c.f. got a freekick which was hit by Toribio Mayol. Isaac Higuera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Malaga.c.f.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Menendez came free, but Colon Radaban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uzuri Cayuela during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Tapa e nalga FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Llorente. 70 minutes into the match, Malaga.c.f.'s goalkeeper Colon Radaban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benet Gómez. After a defensive mix-up in Malaga.c.f.'s zone, Benet Gómez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Colon Radaban came out of the goal and Benet Gómez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Malaga.c.f.'s Giraldo Urquijo in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapa e nalga FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th match minute, Tapa e nalga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrés-Fernando Prats to maneuver through the defense. Malaga.c.f.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Benedicto Menendez scored to the left of an out of position Colon Radaban, making the score, 0-2. After 95 minutes of play Tapa e nalga FC's Uzuri Cayuela was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Tapa e nalga FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Uzuri Cayuela hit a great ball. The Tapa e nalga FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tapa e nalga FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
