After a defensive mix-up in almogàvers's zone, Javier Radaban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Zubiaga came out of the goal and Javier Radaban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 minutes, Xilo Caminero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Casablanca and the almogàvers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience held their breath when Antero Sarro in the 10th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Tobias Fresnos's left hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tito Reyes during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes almogàvers got a freekick which was hit by Tito Reyes. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Javier Radaban took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eduardo Zubiaga to make any attempt to save it. Eduardo Zubiaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Radaban in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, almogàvers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tito Reyes to maneuver through the defense. S.D. Casablanca's Tobias Fresnos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Lacorte in the 32nd minute of play. Lorenzo Lacorte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 played minutes almogàvers got a freekick which was hit by Antero Sarro. A hard shot 37 in the game by Lorenzo Lacorte from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Zubiaga managed to make a qualified save. almogàvers's players were relieved. Lorenzo Lacorte scored 2-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Zubiaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Javier Radaban recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduardo Zubiaga. Javier Radaban showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After 52 played minutes almogàvers got a freekick which was hit by Antero Sarro. Eduardo Zubiaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Lacorte went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. almogàvers's Tito Reyes got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, S.D. Casablanca's goal looked a bit too open when Antolin Huguet came free, but Tobias Fresnos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Antolin Huguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Higinio Lacorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tobias Fresnos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antolin Huguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Eduardo Zubiaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Radaban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Lorenzo Lacorte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Zubiaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
