They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Paquito Sabina came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Claravalls FC fans jumped to their feet. When Ceferino Jerrold came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the YumasiK F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Jerrold couldn't finish the play. YumasiK F.C made a substitution. Boni Leyva replaced Guillermo Abrego. 81 minutes into the match, Serban Cernat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Herrera. Ceferino Jerrold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Herrera having to make a save. Eduardo Herrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicodemo Marques in the 95th minute. If Ceferino Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute.
