In the 6th minute, Lazaro Gibert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jongar Fc's Andoni Jaraba got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Silvino Fresnos came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvino Fresnos couldn't finish the play. Luis Puyol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hustaz Gala in the 12th minute of the match. If Zacarías Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Sergi Macho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Area saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Hustaz Gala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jongar Fc's Luis Puyol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hustaz Gala scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Puyol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarías Montero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hustaz Gala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Puyol. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Abelardo Quintas hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Montero. Sergi Macho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute of the match Euloxu Uria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Puyol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hustaz Gala in the 43rd minute of play forced Jongar Fc's goalkeeper Luis Puyol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Silvino Fresnos scored 3-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Puyol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Nacional booed when Jongar Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergi Macho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvino Fresnos to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Hustaz Gala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Caetano Montero hit a great ball. Sergi Macho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Manoel Area tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Hustaz Gala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Puyol was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Presebal Salgado hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match Silvino Fresnos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Puyol skillfully saved the ball. Hustaz Gala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Luis Puyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jongar Fc's Luis Puyol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hustaz Gala in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Jongar Fc got a freekick which was hit by Zacarías Montero. Jongar Fc's Zacarías Montero got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hustaz Gala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Luis Puyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Romualdo Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Romualdo Suarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Puyol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nacional's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
