After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Hustaz Gala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Hustaz Gala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walme Cifuentes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hustaz Gala came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hustaz Gala couldn't finish the play. Walme Cifuentes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hustaz Gala's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Walme Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hustaz Gala in the 8th minute of the match. The Nacional fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Nacional's Hustaz Gala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Walme Cifuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hustaz Gala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Hustaz Gala made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sumoas SAD's Walme Cifuentes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hustaz Gala took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walme Cifuentes. Walme Cifuentes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hustaz Gala in the 25th minute of play forced Sumoas SAD's goalkeeper Walme Cifuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasmus Croonen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes Nacional's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toni Infante who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Toni Infante almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nacional's Manoel Area did a great save. Walme Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Quintas in the 35th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Richie Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Area saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes Nacional's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toni Infante who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ismael Clos advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richie Ferrer to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Ferrer came free, but Manoel Area reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sumoas SAD's Carlos Freire got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Romualdo Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Clos came free, but Manoel Area reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Ismael Clos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Area saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Ferrer in the 76th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Manoel Area to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sumoas SAD's zone, Romualdo Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walme Cifuentes came out of the goal and Romualdo Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luar Valines hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Romualdo Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Walme Cifuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romualdo Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Ferrer came free, but Manoel Area reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sumoas SAD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Toni Infante in the 95th minute. Sumoas SAD's Toni Infante was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manoel Area in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match was over Nacional could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sumoas SAD throughout the match.
