An unexpectedly hard shot by Eligio Fresnos in the 20th minute of play forced Escadarcs's goalkeeper Arbidel Zabalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eligio Fresnos came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Priego De Cordoba AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eligio Fresnos couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eligio Fresnos in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arbidel Zabalo saved Escadarcs from getting behind. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Llin Huerta was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Escadarcs got a freekick which was hit by Gaizko Campomanes. Priego De Cordoba AD's Naldo Camino got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eligio Fresnos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Elian Cayuela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escadarcs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elian Cayuela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Llin Huerta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arbidel Zabalo. The goal made the score 1-2. Priego De Cordoba AD's Llin Huerta got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gergori Saavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elian Cayuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Priego De Cordoba AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
