Seating: 1010, VIP seats: 110) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xuaco Pareja started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lawrence Pareja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Urquijo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xuaco Pareja's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Aloisio Abrego charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aloisio Abrego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Bergara K.E. got a freekick which was hit by Aloisio Abrego. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xepe Aballe got free with Felipe Urquijo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Urquijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Platon Verdaguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Felipe Urquijo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Lawrence Pareja sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Real Betis's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Barro came free, but Lauren Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Betis's Lauren Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Marin in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Lino Barro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Real Betis defense, Lino Barro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lauren Mata. The Real Betis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauren Mata should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Barro in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauren Mata saved Real Betis from getting behind. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Betis's goalkeeper Lauren Mata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lauren Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lino Barro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Bergara K.E. got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Marin. In the 39th minute, Platon Verdaguer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Felipe Urquijo, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 40 minutes, Lino Barro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergara K.E.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Barro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Betis's Lauren Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Marin in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Real Betis's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Barro came free, but Lauren Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bergara K.E.'s Lino Barro got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Betis's Lauren Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Barro in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Marin in the 47th minute of play forced Real Betis's goalkeeper Lauren Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
Lino Barro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauren Mata having to interfere. When Lino Barro fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bergara K.E.'s protests and gave Lino Barro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bergara K.E.'s Lino Barro got a free kick in the 67th minute. Xuaco Pareja took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Urquijo. Felipe Urquijo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 73 minutes into the match, Bergara K.E.'s goal looked a bit too open when Xuaco Pareja came free, but Felipe Urquijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bergara K.E.'s Lino Barro in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Betis's goalie prevented a goal. Lauren Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Barro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Real Betis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Lino Barro scored to the left of an out of position Lauren Mata, making the score, 1-3. Lino Barro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lauren Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Bergara K.E. got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Rallo. Felipe Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Platon Verdaguer in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Bergara K.E. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Betis throughout the match.
