Andres Palencia charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Palencia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Cedro Sobrado put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Presebal Aizpurua. The supporters of U.D. PÍO PIO booed when Glubs F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Olmos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glubs F.C.'s Trajan Ajduković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Domingo in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind U.D. PÍO PIO's goalkeeper Presebal Aizpurua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Nacho Domingo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.D. PÍO PIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nacho Domingo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Olmedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Presebal Aizpurua when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Glubs F.C. booed when U.D. PÍO PIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calisto Puyol didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nacho Domingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glubs F.C.'s Trajan Ajduković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedro Huarte in the 35th minute of play. If Nacho Domingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nacho Domingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trajan Ajduković having to interfere. Cedro Huarte succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Primitivo Marcos to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Glubs F.C.'s Alba Rico got a free kick in the 54th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Primitivo Marcos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Presebal Aizpurua. U.D. PÍO PIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Marcos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 68th minute, Cedro Huarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trajan Ajduković was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 74 minutes into the match, U.D. PÍO PIO's Cedro Huarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trajan Ajduković narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alba Rico struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Presebal Aizpurua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glubs F.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedro Huarte in the 85th minute of play forced Glubs F.C.'s goalkeeper Trajan Ajduković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Primitivo Marcos came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Glubs F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Marcos couldn't finish the play. Trajan Ajduković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedro Huarte in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Glubs F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cedro Huarte came free, but Trajan Ajduković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacho Domingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The U.D. PÍO PIO players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Glubs F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
