Salbatore Cabanela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Pereda UD fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Pereda UD's Xabier Marquez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Orban FC's Bernat Orbiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabier Marquez in the 44th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Xabier Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orban FC's Bernat Orbiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Xabier Marquez made the kick off in the second half. The coaching staff of Orban FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anibal Santos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 73rd minute, one of Orban FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Orban FC. The audience was convinced that Xabier Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernat Orbiz was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Desiderio Leyvas short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Bernat Orbiz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pereda UD's Xabier Marquez in the 80th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Bernat Orbiz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Orban FC through an amazing save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xabier Marquez in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernat Orbiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Desiderio Leyva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernat Orbiz having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Salbatore Cabanela took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Bernat Orbiz to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Xabier Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernat Orbiz was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pereda UD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
