Roger Ecija's late challenge caught a Punto Fijo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Ecija helped the player get up and apologised. Baraxil Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes Turrilla in the 19th minute of play. Torralba De Ribota's supporters rose to their feet, but Gandolfo Macia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 57th match minute, Punto Fijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Grau to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Pascua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Encina, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frances Elias in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baraxil Hernandez saved Torralba De Ribota from getting behind. Torralba De Ribota's Roger Ecija got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Roger Ecija off the ground. In the 95th minute, Frances Elias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Punto Fijo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
