After 19 played minutes Quitapenas UAD got a freekick which was hit by Arnau Lastras. Sergi Barro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Macerio Llorente showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Aurelio Soldado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sergi Barro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergi Barro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Calisto Arenas. Fresco Guijarro came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Quitapenas UAD's Kemen Buenafuente. But to his dismay, Kemen Buenafuente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Neron Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Collerense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neron Sánchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aurelio Soldado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, UD Collerense's Calisto Arenas got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute of the match, Neron Sánchez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sergi Barro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Aparicio Espinosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neron Sánchez to make the kick off. UD Collerense's Aparicio Espinosa got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. UD Collerense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Neron Sánchez in the 71st minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Caton Bargas advanced and headed the ball into goal, 4-1 in the 71st minute. Sergi Barro guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 78th minute, Aurelio Soldado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Soldado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergi Barro having to make a save.
