Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cantillana UD's Zuriko Doblas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lleir Cacheres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Dante Toledo made a huge save. If Lleir Cacheres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zuriko Doblas in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Toledo saved Girona F.C. from getting behind. Girona F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zuriko Doblas 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Etxatxu Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Nieto in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Lleir Cacheres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantillana UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lleir Cacheres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Girona F.C.'s Dante Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuriko Doblas in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Lleir Cacheres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuriko Doblas in the 25th minute of play forced Girona F.C.'s goalkeeper Dante Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Toledo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Lleir Cacheres sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 32 minutes, Egoitz Zurica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantillana UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egoitz Zurica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Lleir Cacheres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Toledo. Girona F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lleir Cacheres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lleir Cacheres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Dante Toledo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Girona F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Zuriko Doblas scored to the left of an out of position Dante Toledo, making the score, 3-0. Lleir Cacheres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Toledo having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fábio Nieto was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Egoitz Zurica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Toledo. Girona F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egoitz Zurica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Nieto in the 60th minute of play forced Cantillana UD's goalkeeper Etxatxu Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cantillana UD's Ignacio Sabina got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuriko Doblas in the 65th minute of play forced Girona F.C.'s goalkeeper Dante Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Girona F.C.'s zone, Zuriko Doblas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Toledo came out of the goal and Zuriko Doblas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cantillana UD fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Cantillana UD's Zuriko Doblas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zuriko Doblas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dante Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zuriko Doblas in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cantillana UD's Lleir Cacheres got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Beremundo Camacho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Toledo was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Girona F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lleir Cacheres came free, but Dante Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuriko Doblas in the 97th minute of the match. Cantillana UD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
