After a defensive mix-up in TANGABOYS FC's zone, Máximo Zubiaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casado Orozco came out of the goal and Máximo Zubiaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fábio Flores who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Juan-Pablo Huerta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, El Portús AFC's Rami Jorquera got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Máximo Zubiaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Máximo Zubiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casado Orozco having to interfere. Fábio Flores's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Juan-Pablo Huerta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fábio Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Juan-Pablo Huerta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to El Portús AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Venceslao Unzueta hit a great ball. Urbasa Dobale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Reyes charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Reyes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El Portús AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Armando Reyes hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Urbasa Dobale suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. El Portús AFC's Venceslao Unzueta got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Venceslao Unzueta off the ground. The supporters of TANGABOYS FC booed when El Portús AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venceslao Unzueta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Flores struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Juan-Pablo Huerta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TANGABOYS FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Natal Vilanova managed to get in a good position for a shot. TANGABOYS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Natal Vilanova was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan-Pablo Huerta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Fábio Flores made the kick off in the second half. Natal Vilanova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Juan-Pablo Huerta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Fábio Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. TANGABOYS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan-Pablo Huerta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulin Bellido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan-Pablo Huerta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Fábio Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Pablo Huerta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind El Portús AFC's goalkeeper Juan-Pablo Huerta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábio Flores in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan-Pablo Huerta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the El Portús AFC defense, Natal Vilanova kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan-Pablo Huerta. The El Portús AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan-Pablo Huerta should have stopped the shot. Cirino Rallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute Fábio Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Pablo Huerta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, El Portús AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirino Rallo came free, but Juan-Pablo Huerta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match TANGABOYS FC got a corner. El Portús AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evarado Campomanes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to TANGABOYS FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cirino Rallo hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Ebardo Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Fábio Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Portús AFC's Juan-Pablo Huerta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan-Pablo Huerta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TANGABOYS FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Portús AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
