An unexpectedly hard shot by Abrahan Irureta in the 11th minute of play forced Giles's goalkeeper Mateo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Mateo Romero managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when ARMENGOL FC's Bizen Teresa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Bizen Teresa could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Mateo Romero however easily saved by the left post. After 15 minutes of play Giles's Celestino Gutierrez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of ARMENGOL FC booed when Giles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vermudo Castaño kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. ARMENGOL FC's Quique Bravo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 25 minutes, Blasco Carballido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beti Riells helped the player get up and apologised. Quique Bravo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. ARMENGOL FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 38 minutes, Efraín Herrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giles and the ARMENGOL FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Efraín Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bizen Teresa made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 41stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Mateo Romero would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Bizen Teresa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Romero having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Bizen Teresa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mateo Romero. The goal made the score 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bizen Teresa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giles's Mateo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bizen Teresa in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Beti Riells shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, ARMENGOL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yvon Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Abrahan Irureta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mateo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blasco Carballido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bizen Teresa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quique Bravo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nastasio Ucero got free with Victorino Aballe in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute Blasco Carballido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quique Bravo in the 88th minute of play. Mateo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abrahan Irureta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Abrahan Irureta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. There was no doubt that ARMENGOL FC were the better team. ARMENGOL FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
