New Team's Gilberto Urbieta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save New Team from getting a goal against them. New Team's Gilberto Urbieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Lillo in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amat Feal in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cheche Camara saved Chichas FC from getting behind. Gilberto Urbieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Lillo in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute Domingo Lillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Urbieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Lillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Urbieta having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, New Team's Amat Feal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cheche Camara narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Gilberto Urbieta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Domingo Lillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Urbieta having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play New Team's Leandro Sobrado was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Domingo Lillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chichas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Lillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a rather tough play, Chichas FC's Osvaldo Vazquez got a free kick in the 84th minute. Amat Feal missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 86 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Cheche Camara right hand side. Telesforo Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Uriel Cartagena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Urbieta having to interfere. Chichas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
