Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xurde Acha started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Moya in the 4th minute of play forced Villasevil CD's goalkeeper Esquipula Odín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Figueroa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Esquipula Odín made a huge save. If Danilo Moya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aire Abasalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josepe Olmedo having to interfere. When Villasevil CD's Xurde Acha in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montserrat FC's goalie prevented a goal. Josepe Olmedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xurde Acha's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Roger Reyes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montserrat FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villasevil CD the free kick. The supporters of Villasevil CD booed when Montserrat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xurde Acha struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Josepe Olmedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villasevil CD. Aire Abasalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Aire Abasalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josepe Olmedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Aire Abasalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurde Acha in the 35th minute of play forced Montserrat FC's goalkeeper Josepe Olmedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Montserrat FC got a freekick which was hit by Xose Rico. After a rather tough play, Montserrat FC's Vladimiro Garcia got a free kick in the 38th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Villasevil CD's Humberto Navarro tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Aire Abasalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the game, Xurde Acha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Josepe Olmedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Danilo Moya made the kick off in the second half. Aire Abasalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Josepe Olmedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Villasevil CD booed when Montserrat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xose Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montserrat FC's Josepe Olmedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurde Acha in the 61st minute of play. Danilo Moya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esquipula Odín read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Danilo Moya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Romano Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 72 minutes, Teofilo Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montserrat FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Moya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Esquipula Odín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xesc Cano shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Vladimiro Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Montserrat FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Garcia couldn't finish the play. Aire Abasalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
