Arucas CF's Norino Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolito Ricoy in the 11th minute of play. Saturnin Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Urbes Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Cristo Vacas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arucas CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Vacas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Arucas CF booed when Vetusta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnin Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Normando Abril reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Norino Perez. The goal made the score 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Normando Abril managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vetusta's supporters rose to their feet, but Normando Abril was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norino Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute Normando Abril shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norino Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Arucas CF got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Vacas. Manolito Ricoy let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 36th minute shot 4-0 at rihgt post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Arucas CF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vetusta:s goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manolito Ricoy to make the kick off. When Cristo Vacas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Arucas CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Vacas couldn't finish the play. After 56 minutes of play, Vetusta's Manolito Ricoy made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norino Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Manolito Ricoy came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Vetusta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolito Ricoy couldn't finish the play. Norino Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Borrás, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Manolito Ricoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norino Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pietro Talavera fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arucas CF's protests and gave Pietro Talavera a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Arucas CF got a freekick which was hit by Pietro Talavera. Norino Perez came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Vetusta's Generoso Ballesteros. But to his dismay, Generoso Ballesteros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When Generoso Ballesteros came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Vetusta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Ballesteros couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Arucas CF defense, Manolito Ricoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norino Perez. The Arucas CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norino Perez should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Normando Abril in the 85th minute of play forced Arucas CF's goalkeeper Norino Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Arucas CF booed when Vetusta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnin Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norino Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Ballesteros in the 89th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Manolito Ricoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arucas CF's Norino Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norino Perez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vetusta's Manolito Ricoy shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute.
