Without hesitation aimed to the right of Landolfo Roman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Landolfo Roman stood somewhat misplaced when Tipi Echavarri came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. Landolfo Roman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tipi Echavarri's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Aimar Candamil might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Landolfo Roman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aimar Candamil ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tipi Echavarri in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Landolfo Roman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, La Cañadilla CF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stein-Roger Stenvik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Landolfo Roman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tipi Echavarri in the 22nd minute of the match. Landolfo Roman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tipi Echavarri's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Orihuela got a freekick which was hit by Tipi Echavarri. Tipi Echavarris short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Landolfo Roman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th minute Petronio Revuelta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Landolfo Roman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Landolfo Roman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tipi Echavarri's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Landolfo Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimar Candamil, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Aimar Candamil took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Landolfo Roman to make any attempt to save it. In the 39th minute, Stein-Roger Stenvik made a precise shot to the right of Landolfo Roman. La Cañadilla CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 44th match minute, La Cañadilla CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Morales to maneuver through the defense. Tipi Echavarri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Landolfo Roman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The referee ignored La Cañadilla CF's protests and gave Desiderio Murcia a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Orihuela's Manel Arribas got a free kick in the 55th minute. Cesareo Morado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Landolfo Roman having to interfere. If Cesareo Morado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Orihuela's Petronio Revuelta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Landolfo Roman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Tipi Echavarri sped through La Cañadilla CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Landolfo Roman. Orihuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Petronio Revuelta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Landolfo Roman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, Tipi Echavarri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Landolfo Roman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tipi Echavarri in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Landolfo Roman saved La Cañadilla CF from getting behind. In the 90th minute Ricardo Vila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Landolfo Roman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tipi Echavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Landolfo Roman having to interfere. Orihuela made a substitution. Madaleno Bargas replaced Tipi Echavarri. Orihuela's Madaleno Bargas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Landolfo Roman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Madaleno Bargas's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Orihuela had played much better football throughout.
