When Yuri Radaban fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RedBull Cerdanyola's protests and gave Yuri Radaban a yellow card for diving instead. Leroy Encina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordera Litago having to interfere. Erasmo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garin Dulce having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RedBull Cerdanyola's José Puig got a free kick in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

RedBull Cerdanyola's Yuri Radaban got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Yuri Radaban off the ground. Eutropio Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Froilan Turrilla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cordera Litago, passed just outside the right post. Cordera Litago was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leroy Encina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 82 minute of play. José Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Garin Dulce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RedBull Cerdanyola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leroy Encina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Ruente supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ruente would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
