After 10 played minutes F.C. Torroella got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Borrás. In the 15th minute Egoi Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis-Miguel Feria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes F.C. Torroella got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Borrás. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egoi Quintana in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis-Miguel Feria saved F.C. Torroella from getting behind. Egoi Quintana scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis-Miguel Feria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. F.C. Torroella's Gitano Gómez got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, F.C. Torroella's Nereo De Toro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ubaldo Pascua. Ubaldo Pascua yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino De Paula to make the kick off. Ubaldo Pascua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gitano Gómez in the 56th minute of the match. Ubaldo Pascua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino De Paula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higuera La Real's Ubaldo Pascua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino De Paula in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, F.C. Torroella's Baldomero Borrás got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Maximino De Paula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Pascua having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, F.C. Torroella's Gitano Gómez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubaldo Pascua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Higuera La Real's Ubaldo Pascua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo De Toro in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, F.C. Torroella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo De Toro to maneuver through the defense. Arnalt Zapico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubaldo Pascua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino De Paula in the 81st minute of play. Gitano Gómez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Pascua having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gitano Gómez in the 87th minute of play forced Higuera La Real's goalkeeper Ubaldo Pascua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Higuera La Real booed when F.C. Torroella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Borrás didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Arnalt Zapico fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luis-Miguel Feria, passed just outside the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C. Torroella fans cheered their team off the field, for while Higuera La Real had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
