When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gillermo Mayor made a kick off. Toli De Pedro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentín Briso went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Agamenón Prieto managed to get in a good position for a shot. cebollero fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Agamenón Prieto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseba Jorquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lolo Lara in the 78th minute of play. Marcos Huguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gillermo Mayor struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Toli De Pedro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Candon. After 88 played minutes cebollero fc got a freekick which was hit by Andolin Zurica. Gillermo Mayor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Toli De Pedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliverio Nafría's late challenge caught a Candon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliverio Nafría helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Candon eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
