Vikings's Eskuin Ruiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hussein Aguilar in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Hussein Aguilar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hussein Aguilar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hussein Aguilar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eskuin Ruiz having to make a save. Anter De Paula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bermudo Bergada in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Ovidio Abad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerrald Japón didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerrald Japón in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eskuin Ruiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Zeruko Carreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Vikings's Severino Escobar in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Hussein Aguilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 played minutes Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Darien Justo. After a defensive mix-up in Vikings's zone, Jerrald Japón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eskuin Ruiz came out of the goal and Jerrald Japón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Jerrald Japón fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eskuin Ruiz, passed just outside the right post. Jerrald Japón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eskuin Ruiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Vikings's Eskuin Ruiz got control of the ball when Jerrald Japón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eskuin Ruiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hussein Aguilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Bermudo Bergada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anter De Paula was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Cordareo Domingo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mavericks and the Vikings players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cordareo Domingo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Vikings could leave the field as winners, despite Mavericks having more of the ball for most of the match.
