After a defensive mix-up in Serdio SD's zone, Angelino Huguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Ruiz came out of the goal and Angelino Huguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Joaquin Echeto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olo Rienda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Ruiz having to interfere. Olo Rienda struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Damian Ruiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cotinho F.C. 19 minutes into the match, Olo Rienda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Ruiz. Serdio SD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olo Rienda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 24th match minute, Serdio SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Palencia to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Huguet in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Ruiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olo Rienda in the 28th minute of play forced Serdio SD's goalkeeper Damian Ruiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Olo Rienda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cotinho F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, Angelino Huguet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Ruiz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Unai Incera in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Cuervas saved Cotinho F.C from getting behind. In the 57th minute Olo Rienda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Ruiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cotinho F.C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Manel Laredo hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Angelino Huguet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cotinho F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serdio SD the free kick. When Unai Incera came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Serdio SD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Unai Incera couldn't finish the play. In the 67th match minute, Serdio SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Escobar to maneuver through the defense. When Cotinho F.C's Olo Rienda in 77 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Damian Ruiz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Damian Ruiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Huguet in the 79th minute. Olo Rienda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
