Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Inge Campello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Blazquez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Amor Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castañeda AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Amor Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Blazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Froilan Cabada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Nemesio Briso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castañeda AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grandes SD the free kick. Nemesio Briso hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Amor Jaen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Blazquez was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Castañeda AD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Oscar Sobera made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Amor Jaen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saul Blazquez. Amor Jaen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 56th minute of the match, Inge Campello got a very nice opportunity to score, but Saul Blazquez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Saul Blazquez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Inge Campello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Amor Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castañeda AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Amor Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Blazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Inge Campello came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Castañeda AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Campello couldn't finish the play. Saul Blazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amor Jaen in the 85th minute of play. Amor Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
