Garcilaso Cañadas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Clemente, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Andrin Cabezas might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Pantoja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrin Cabezas ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 14 in the game by Xosepe Turrilla from a close distance when the talented Mario Pantoja managed to make a qualified save. Sanin's players were relieved. If Silvio Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sestao's goalkeeper Garcilaso Cañadas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Sanin getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marques Palencia hit a great ball. The long shot by Baudilio Delgado in the 25th minute really tested Mario Pantoja's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Toli Mala hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Demesio Solera took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garcilaso Cañadas. Garcilaso Cañadas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 34 minutes into the game, Castel Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sestao the free kick. The supporters of Sestao booed when Sanin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Castel Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xosepe Turrillas short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Mario Pantoja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andrin Cabezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mario Pantoja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xosepe Turrilla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Mario Pantoja skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Xosepe Turrilla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mario Pantoja firmly grabbed it by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Andrin Cabezas scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Pantoja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Sanin's goal looked a bit too open when Andrin Cabezas came free, but Mario Pantoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Pantoja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrin Cabezas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Sanin's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepe Turrilla came free, but Mario Pantoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nacho Clemente got free with Garcilaso Cañadas in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrin Cabezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Mario Pantoja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sestao made a substitution. Olayo Gil replaced Yvon Rico. Nacho Clemente kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mario Pantoja came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Sestao's Xosepe Turrilla. But to his dismay, Xosepe Turrilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Nacho Clemente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Garcilaso Cañadas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Sestao's goalkeeper Garcilaso Cañadas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primo Camacho. After a defensive mix-up in Sanin's zone, Andrin Cabezas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Pantoja came out of the goal and Andrin Cabezas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepe Turrilla in the 93rd minute of play forced Sanin's goalkeeper Mario Pantoja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andrin Cabezas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Sestao were the better team. Sestao's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
