Hanni Bermejo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Gabas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilabert Cortes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Hanni Bermejo made a huge save. Gilabert Cortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hanni Bermejo having to interfere. Serafín Ortiz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogelio Gabas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hanni Bermejo. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Iker Sarrate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hanni Bermejo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabri Feria during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Tigers Alicante C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabri Feria to maneuver through the defense. Salomón Peso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Tigers Alicante C.F got a freekick which was hit by Serafín Ortiz. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Gabas to make the kick off. Tudor Soare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicholas Merino having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, Rogelio Gabas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hanni Bermejo. Tigers Alicante C.F's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Gabas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 63rd minute, Serafín Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tigers Alicante C.F getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Serafín Ortiz hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Santana Marines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hanni Bermejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilabert Cortes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilabert Cortes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Berbiz santillana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigers Alicante C.F's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berbiz santillana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Salomón Peso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pontones SAD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
