Leo Lastras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymundo Dominguez having to interfere. When Celino Carreira came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Los Montoyas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celino Carreira couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Los Montoyas's goalkeeper Pepito Cardeñosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peio Bernal. Mateo Cartagena's late challenge caught a Los Montoyas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Cartagena helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Lentregu CF got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Cartagena. If Leo Lastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Carlito Castillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lentregu CF and the Los Montoyas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Montoyas booed when Lentregu CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlito Castillo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The audience was convinced that Mateo Cartagena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepito Cardeñosa was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Augusto Mudarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pepito Cardeñosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Cartagena, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Lentregu CF's Raymundo Dominguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Lentregu CF from getting a goal against them. Lentregu CF's Raymundo Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Lastras in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lentregu CF's goalkeeper Raymundo Dominguez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Celino Carreira notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lentregu CF's Raymundo Dominguez. Raymundo Dominguez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
