Ricart Diaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Esteve Vazquez made a huge save. Carlo Ocaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Xilo Gil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC GAMERS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave R.C.Deportivo MALLORCA the free kick. In the 8th minute, Xilo Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pello Bacete came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the R.C.Deportivo MALLORCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pello Bacete couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes of play, R.C.Deportivo MALLORCA's Ricart Diaz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Vazquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esteve Vazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Ocaña in the 25th minute of the match. Doroteo Andres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabel Llorente having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Ocaña in the 30th minute of play forced FC GAMERS's goalkeeper Esteve Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, FC GAMERS's goalkeeper Esteve Vazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claus Sarro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricart Diaz got free with Esteve Vazquez in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute, Gabon Herrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xabel Llorente came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FC GAMERS's Doroteo Andres. But to his dismay, Doroteo Andres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlo Ocaña to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, FC GAMERS's goal looked a bit too open when Pello Bacete came free, but Esteve Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricart Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Ocaña in the 60th minute of play forced FC GAMERS's goalkeeper Esteve Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Doroteo Andres in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 68th match minute, FC GAMERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doroteo Andres to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, FC GAMERS's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Soler came free, but Esteve Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Sarro in the 79th minute of play forced FC GAMERS's goalkeeper Esteve Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabon Herrero got free with Xabel Llorente in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doroteo Andres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xabel Llorente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Esteve Vazquez came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by R.C.Deportivo MALLORCA's Carlo Ocaña. But to his dismay, Carlo Ocaña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ricart Diaz struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Esteve Vazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.C.Deportivo MALLORCA. R.C.Deportivo MALLORCA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
