Jeremias Soto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Griful in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergi Harroyo in the 4th minute of play forced AL-XARAF's goalkeeper Jeremias Soto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergi Harroyo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergi Harroyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Carro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferran Aranzubia having to interfere. Pendes SAD's Sergi Harroyo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oliver Fabelo's late challenge caught a AL-XARAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Carro might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferran Aranzubia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Carro ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Felipe Carro made the kick off in the second half. The AL-XARAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. AL-XARAF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
