After 15 minutes, Fidel Zafrilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villel and the Alcano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alcano booed when Villel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Zafrilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes Alcano got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Urruti. Gabon Barbosa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Tipi Olmedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Ruiz to make the kick off. Andrés Cainzos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureo Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrés Cainzos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureo Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureo Jaen in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrés Cainzos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 73 minutes of play, Alcano's Apoena Bodelon made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrés Cainzos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernat Avila charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernat Avila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 77 minutes into the game, one of Alcano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Villel's Barea Munoz got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureo Jaen in the 86th minute of play forced Villel's goalkeeper Andrés Cainzos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villel's Andrés Cainzos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureo Jaen in the 88th minute of play. Evaristo Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Martín Caminero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
