After 5 played minutes Astures got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Prieto. Artemio Casas kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Astures's Aintza Torrent got a free kick in the 10th minute. Rafa Barbosa made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Astures's Quirze Navarro. A collision led to Astures getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ekaitz Molina hit a great ball. Dino Cuevas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doroteo Marquez went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Teofilo Carmona took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Aristides Camaño to make any attempt to save it. Aristides Camaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Carmona, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Quirze Navarro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aristides Camaño, 2-1. Ginés Hernandez made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Doroteo Marquez immediately put the ball in play. Teofilo Carmona struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Aristides Camaño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astures. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Carmona in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Camaño saved Hinojar from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Diego Garate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Camaño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Carmona's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes, Asdrubal Sobrado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hinojar and the Astures players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Teofilo Carmona made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Camaño. Hinojar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Teofilo Carmona took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Camaño. Aristides Camaño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Aristides Camaño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aintza Torrent's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Astures's attentive Aintza Torrent managed to snatch the ball when Ismael Cacheres made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Aristides Camaño came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Astures's Aintza Torrent. But to his dismay, Aintza Torrent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When Aintza Torrent came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Astures fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aintza Torrent couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Rafa Barbosa in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Astures's Quirze Navarro. 74 minutes into the game, Astures's Aintza Torrent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Camaño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 79th minute Aintza Torrent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Camaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Camaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aintza Torrent, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Aristides Camaño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Carmona's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Aintza Torrent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Aristides Camaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quirze Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Camaño having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Teofilo Carmona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astures's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Carmona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Camaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 minutes of play, Astures's Aintza Torrent made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Camaño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Astures's Dino Cuevas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Astures from getting a goal against them. Astures walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
