Hector Zapico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Carmona in the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antxoka Cabrera during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Paul AFC's Antxoka Cabrera got a free kick in the 8th minute. Dino Cuevas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antxoka Cabrera in the 10th minute of play. Hector Zapico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Carmona's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Aintza Torrent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes, Teofilo Carmona made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. El Paul AFC's Hector Zapico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Teofilo Carmona in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hector Zapico, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Aintza Torrent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astures's supporters rose to their feet, but Aintza Torrent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Zapico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, El Paul AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Carmona came free, but Hector Zapico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martín Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hector Zapico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astures's Aintza Torrent suffered a sore thigh after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to El Paul AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Antxoka Cabrera hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Astures's Teofilo Carmona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hector Zapico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Carmona made a kick off. When Teofilo Carmona came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Astures fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Carmona couldn't finish the play. Astures's Pio Escurza got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilo Carmona struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Hector Zapico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astures. Teofilo Carmona took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Zapico. Hector Zapico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Teofilo Carmona struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Hector Zapico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astures. The Astures fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Astures's Teofilo Carmona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, El Paul AFC's Amaro Urbina got a free kick in the 68th minute. Teofilo Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Cuevas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Verges in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute, Teofilo Carmona made a precise shot to the right of Hector Zapico. El Paul AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 80th match minute, Astures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pio Escurza to maneuver through the defense. In the 89thth minute of the game Teofilo Carmona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Paul AFC's Hector Zapico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. El Paul AFC's Hector Zapico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Carmona in the 91st minute of play. Pio Escurza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Astures fully deserved thier win.
