After a rather tough play, Bertola's Dino Doblas got a free kick in the 19th minute. Esdras Mezquita took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Batista Taules. Batista Taules dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esdras Mezquita got free with Batista Taules in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batista Taules made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garikoitz Gasso in the 36th minute of play. Bertola's Batista Taules proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Bertola from getting a goal against them. After 38 minutes, Raymond Estruch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bertola and the Colldejou AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Bertola got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Estruch. If Rafael Griego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Esdras Mezquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bertola reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esdras Mezquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esdras Mezquita in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batista Taules saved Bertola from getting behind. After 60 played minutes Bertola got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Pablo Torres.
