The supporters of Cilleros Cahersa booed when Montaverner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerardo Verdeja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Adolfo Cambero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montaverner's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cilleros Cahersa the free kick. A collision led to Montaverner getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobaldo Revuelta during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francisco Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvis Esteban, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Cilleros Cahersa's Tano Izquierdo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Cambero kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tano Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. In the 93rd minute, Raúl Naranjo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cilleros Cahersa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 96 played minutes Cilleros Cahersa got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Naranjo. When the referee ended the match the Cilleros Cahersa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
