Montez Gomar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldemar Abajas's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 42 minutes, Alfredo Domenech mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cutanda CD and the Labastida SD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Cutanda CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Domenech to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Vitor Fonticoba sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Anko Soto threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Vitor Fonticoba this time. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramos Amorebieta got free with Anko Soto in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The Cutanda CD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Alexander Redondo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 62nd playminute. The referee ignored Cutanda CD's protests and gave Tebaldo Jurado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cutanda CD getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tebaldo Jurado hit a great ball. Alexander Redondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montez Gomar having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
