The supporters of Flanito booed when Pontus Veteris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peyo Sampil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pontus Veteris's Vachon Jofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egun Portillo in the 14th minute of play. Peyo Sampil kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Bernardo Verdaguer came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Pontus Veteris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Verdaguer couldn't finish the play. Egun Portillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vachon Jofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egun Portillo made a kick off. Feliberto Ladra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. René Puig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pontus Veteris's Bernardo Verdaguer got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Egun Portillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vachon Jofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tato Ribas in the 60th minute of play. Vachon Jofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egun Portillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
