An unexpectedly hard shot by Dantel Treviño in the 7th minute of play forced Milan 1899's goalkeeper Rodas Arribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dantel Treviño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rodas Arribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rutenio Losantos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodas Arribas was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Efren Jurado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Millán Harroyo made a huge save. Enzo Clos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rodas Arribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Milan 1899 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cordeal Maldonado hit a great ball. Rodas Arribas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rutenio Losantos went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rodas Arribas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutenio Losantos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Dantel Treviño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodas Arribas. Milan 1899's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dantel Treviño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dantel Treviño took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodas Arribas. Rodas Arribas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 37 played minutes MALAGA CF got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Clos. In the 38th minute, Milan 1899's Urko Abrego ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Millán Harroyo. Millán Harroyo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. If Enzo Clos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dantel Treviño to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as MALAGA CF's Dantel Treviño slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodas Arribas. That made the score 2-4 after 51 minutes of play. In the 55th minute, Enzo Clos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 56 minutes into the match, Milan 1899's goalkeeper Rodas Arribas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dantel Treviño. The long shot by Javier Maestro in the 58th minute really tested Rodas Arribas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when MALAGA CF's Enzo Clos fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. MALAGA CF's Enzo Clos got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute of the match, Enzo Clos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodas Arribas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fikret Palabıyık's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodas Arribas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Urko Abrego made a precise shot to the right of Millán Harroyo. MALAGA CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Rodas Arribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Clos in the 86th minute of the match. MALAGA CF's Fikret Palabıyık got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodas Arribas was a little too slow when Enzo Clos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 3-5. When the final whistle sounded MALAGA CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Milan 1899.
