But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Sainz couldn't finish the play. Lucero Lozano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cordarin Bermejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 邱耀烽 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucero Lozano in the 16th minute of play. Cordarin Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordarin Bermejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邱耀烽 having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Pascal Bastida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carolo Sainz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montxo Mudarra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antoni Canturri went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Narciso Dobale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Montxo Mudarra having to make a save. In the 39thth minute of the game Carolo Sainz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Robledillo De La Jara's Montxo Mudarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cordarin Bermejo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, 邱耀烽 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Montxo Mudarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Canturri in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Sainz in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montxo Mudarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucero Lozano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carolo Sainz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montxo Mudarra having to interfere. Montxo Mudarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Sainz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoni Canturri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. UD Abanilla's Carolo Sainz got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Antoni Canturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montxo Mudarra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carolo Sainz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Robledillo De La Jara's goalkeeper Montxo Mudarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoni Canturri. If Antoni Canturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over UD Abanilla could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Robledillo De La Jara throughout the match.
