In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gallarta AFC's goalkeeper Godfredo Orbiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 played minutes Gallarta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Millano Bencoiechea. After having played for 20 minutes, Bruno Elguero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallarta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Elguero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gromber CF's goalkeeper Ximeno Villalcazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Millano Bencoiechea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gallarta AFC and the Gromber CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Millano Bencoiechea hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Zunbeltz Gene's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Orbiz was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Carlomagno Orbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ximeno Villalcazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Elguero in the 35th minute of play forced Gromber CF's goalkeeper Ximeno Villalcazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Gromber CF got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Jareño. Ximeno Villalcazar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruno Elguero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Fernando Millán hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Elguero to make the kick off. Ximeno Villalcazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Elguero in the 58th minute of the match. Alfonso Bravo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bruno Elguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Gallarta AFC's Joaquin Paz got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Zunbeltz Gene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zunbeltz Gene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gallarta AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Oriol Lagunas hit a great ball. When Bruno Elguero came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gallarta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Elguero couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Alfonso Bravo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Orbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zunbeltz Gene in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Godfredo Orbiz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 94th minute, Alfonso Bravo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godfredo Orbiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gallarta AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gromber CF for a fine match.
